The House just passed the SAVE America Act, restrictive legislation that would force voters to prove their U.S. citizenship to register, eliminate mail-only registrations, and require photo ID in every state to vote.

If passed, this bill would overhaul how elections are run and disenfranchise tens of thousands of eligible voters ahead of the midterm elections.
